Ct Talks and Tutorials
2008
Come and see the new and improved Ct tutorial at Micro 2008 Nov. 8 in beautiful Lake Como, Italy. We’ll cover the motivation behind Ct, some of the basics behind the programming model, and provide performance tuning insight for a range of interesting data parallel applications ripped from real world applications.
Ct is:
-a deterministic parallel programming model that works with standard C++ compilers;
-a nested data parallel model that supports a variety of shapes or dimensions of parallel collections;
-designed to scale forward onto future multi- and many-core architectures;
-dynamically compiled for adaptivity for a variety of runtime conditions.
In this tutorial, you can expect to learn generic concepts of data parallel programming as well as the specifics of Ct. We will provide concrete examples from critical industrial and research applications, including graphics, seismic exploration, financial analytics, and medical imaging.
